CIO Dieter Schmidbaur presents the three major projects of Airbus Defence & Space:
– the „Airbus Restricted Cloud“ is the first privat cloud approved by the four national security agencies of Germany, France, Spain and UK.
– a new DDMS backbone has just been implemented (Digital Design, Manufacturing and Services).
– by installing S4 Hana, Airbus will make obsolete 18 larger SAP legacy systems and 50 smaller ERP systems around the world.

We will meet on October 25, 4:00 pm, at the Airbus Defence & Space GmbH, Willy-Messerschmitt-Str in 82024 Taufkirchen – close to Munich. Parking lots are available.

16:30 Guided Tour and Helicopter Flight
Group A will get a guided tour around the Airbus showroom to learn about the history of Airbus Defence and Space.
Group B will hop on a helicopter to get a better feeling of the Airbus business
