Save the Date: CIOmove@OTTO
CIOmove is coming to OTTO. CIO Michael Müller-Wünsch invites the CIO community to continue the discussion on IT and politics that he initiated at the Hamburg IT Strategy Days.
Under the headline “Reboot Germany. Now.”, he challenged CIOs to help Germany move from consuming and operating technology back to building, innovating and creating value. At CIOmove@OTTO, we will take this conversation forward and focus on one of the key questions for CIOs today: How can companies become more resilient and digitally sovereign – not just in principle, but in practice?
Digital sovereignty is no longer only a compliance issue. It is an architectural decision. The deep dive will focus on the exchange between CIOs who are already exploring or building more sovereign solutions:
- What role can CIOs play in strengthening Germany’s digital future?
- Can European providers deliver comparable services, workloads and functionality?
- What project experience already exists?
- How are CIOs adapting their project and budget planning?
- And which arguments have proven effective when making the case for investment at board level?
In his opening impulse, Dr. Michael Müller-Wünsch will share first project experiences with European hyperscalers and sovereign infrastructure approaches. Together with the CIOmove community, he will discuss new architecture models, practical lessons learned and the decisions CIOs need to make now.
