Between hype and hope: How much ROI is actually in Microsoft Copilot?
At recent CIOmove events such as CIOmove@OTTO and Kuehne+Nagel, GenAI played a leading role in the discussion among top international CIOs. In addition to their own projects and use cases as well as the question of how AI projects can be scaled company-wide and thus also “paid off”, the discussion always raised the question of what this means in concrete terms for the Microsoft Copilots, which Microsoft is currently integrating into practically all product lines and packages, including the most widely used productivity suite “Microsoft 365” and the central development tools and platforms?
The short answer is that, due to the hype surrounding GenAI, practically no CIO can avoid the task of at least evaluating, if not actually planning, the use of Microsoft 365 Copilot in the company.
Thus, we realized that there is a great need to talk about the ROI of Microsoft Copilot. Which ROI concept is the right one here? Is the deployment of Copilot worth it and if not, why not? We would like to discuss these (and more) questions and find answers with you and experts from Accenture at our CIOmove Network event “Between Hype and Hope: How Much ROI is Actually in Microsoft Copilot?” on January 22 at the Accenture Innovation Hub in Munich.
