Rainer is Vice President and General Manager for the HPE DACH Business Solutions Group (BSG). The DACH BSG enables companies to create new and differentiated customer experiences, to help customers to create a data-centric mindset, to understand the value of their data and to accelerate the digital transformation. Rainer’s main responsibility is to effectively drive innovation and change with cross functional, virtual and direct teams.
He is a seasoned technology executive with multiple years of experience across many IT businesses, where he successfully managed businesses in matrix organisations and with direct control and enhanced organisational efficiency as first, second and third level manager.
A consistent track record in customer and business acumen as well as sales alignment; Rainer acts as an executive sponsor for several enterprise customers at HPE, where he drives close collaboration and alignment with business, sales, partner and customers to enable, support and drive business growth.
Stefan is the HPE Industry Partner for the automotive sector in DACH (Germany, Switzerland, and Austria) . He enables organizations to transform into data centric businesses and enables participation in the digital data sharing ecosystem.
During his more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Stefan held leading IT roles in different companies, before joining HPE in 2020, such as: Head of IT Architecture at Swissport, the largest ground handler in Aviation or Head of the production architecture of Swisscom (CH), where he was actively involved in the Agile and DevOps transformation of the organization. Before working in Enterprise and IT Architecture, Stefan acquired a wide and deep knowledge in SW development, systems integration, and operations as CTO and in different management roles in ISPs, System Integrators and tech companies. Stefan has an Engineering degree from RWTH Aachen and a MBA from Henley Management College.
He is a regular contributor to international symposia on Digital Transformation, Data Centric Architecture and Meta Data Management. Stefan is co-author of the Data Centric Architecture for Dummies guide and speaks at various international conferences about this topic.
