Jörg Brinkmann

Jörg Brinkmann joined the personnel service provider The Adecco Group as Head of IT DACH/CIO in February 2017. Prior, he was CIO of the Mannheim-based industrial services group Bilfinger SE from 2007 to 2017. Besides his CIO role, Jörg was one of the co-founders and Managing Directors of the Bilfinger Global IT GmbH. After having completed his master’s degree in economics and business administration, Jörg began his professional career at Coats plc in London in 1996. In 2016, he was ranked among the top 10 large companies in the “CIO of the Year” competition by “CIO Magazin” and “Computerwoche” with his “Project Excellence – Build-up of Global IT”.

“My first task was a thorough assessment of the IT status and business requirements. It was very interesting to learn the Group’s IT strategy and mechanisms for internal and external IT provisioning. Together with my colleagues from the other regions and the Group CIO we form the IT Leadership Team that manages and drives the IT agenda of Adecco worldwide”, Jörg summarized his first impressions in his new job at Adecco. “Key projects in my region are to finish the infrastructure modernization I started right at the beginning; and now establish new digital solutions for customer and clients. The project portfolio is overfull for 2018. But, time is critical. The hunt for good candidates to be placed at customers is a challenge we must tackle in mature markets like Germany and Switzerland.”
