Why Dublin?

For the first time, the global CIO conference will visit the Emerald Isle – a country renowned for its rich history, vibrant culture, and cutting-edge technology landscape. Ireland is home to a thriving tech scene, hosting the European headquarters of many leading global companies. We look forward to bringing together the international as well as regional IT community and discussing the topics that concern CIOs the most.

Dublin is one of Europe’s most dynamic tech hubs, often referred to as the “Silicon Valley of Europe”. It boasts a vibrant ecosystem of multinational technology companies, innovative startups, and renowned research institutions. Giants such as Google, Facebook (Meta), Apple, and Microsoft have chosen Dublin as their European headquarters, drawn by the city’s skilled workforce, business-friendly environment, and global connectivity. Ireland’s capital blends its storied past with a modern, innovative spirit, making it the perfect location for CIOmove 2025.

The agenda for CIOmove@Ireland reflects this dynamic environment, featuring visits to iconic landmarks and modern companies, where some of the most innovative solutions for the digital economy are being developed. In addition to these highlights, participants will gain exclusive insights into how Irish companies and institutions are tackling key challenges and driving transformation in IT.

Move With a Method

Learn about the most important topics for CIOs. Use the input of leading scientists from around the world. Set up your own agenda. And discuss your topics with peers and board members of the world’s leading IT vendors.

CIOmove is a global conference for strategic CIOs of multinational companies with an average revenue of $5 billion. The event focuses on innovation, intelligence, and integration, bringing together top CIOs to discuss key IT topics. Using the “Peer Finder” tool, participants rate proposed topics on a scale from 1 (very interesting for me) to 5 (not interesting for me), and the top 28 topics are selected for discussion. Discussions include four deep-dive sessions lasting 90 minutes and smaller working groups lasting 45 minutes. Each participant can join two sessions in each format. Spouses or companions can also rate topics, providing additional insights. Only a limited number of leading IT vendors are allowed to participate (see partners), and sales pitches are strictly prohibited.

The conference is supported by renowned academics, including Prof. Arthur Langer (Columbia University), Prof. Helmut Krcmar (Technical University of Munich), and Prof. Walter Brenner (University of St. Gallen).
