Dr Stefan Henkel

Stefan Henkel studied economics at the University of Bamberg, where he also received his PhD. After working as an assistant professor and as a freelance IT consultant, he started his Siemens career in 1996 at Siemens Management Consulting in Munich. In 1997, he became the Director of Supply Chain Consulting at Corporate Procurement and Logistics.

After filling further management positions in other departments, he joined Customer Services at the Healthcare Sector in 2006, where he was responsible for the global “Product Support” and “Siemens Remote Service”. In 2010, he led the Sector Transformation Management Office. In 2011, Stefan Henkel became the Head of Customer Relationship Management Operations. Since January 2014 he assumes the responsibility as Head of Information Technology within Siemens Healthineers. With the IPO of Siemens Healthineers in March 2018 Stefan Henkel has taken the accountability as CIO.

James M. In 2019, the client and workspace area was integrated in his previous portfolio as Head of Enterprise Computing, a position he held from 2015 onwards. Today Christoph is responsible for approximately 30.000 clients, 1.200 Hilti locations and an SAP S/4HANA / SAP ByDesign based landscape used by two out of 3 Hilti employees every day. AWS is used as customer-facing cloud provider while MS Azure serves as datacenter extension.

From 2011 to 2015 Christoph built up Hilti Asia IT Services, the Kuala Lumpur based strategic IT location for Global IT in Hilti and tripled the workforce by establishing relationships with various local and intenational universities.

Previous to this role, he led as project manager and team lead the implementation of “Global Contact Center”, the standardized IT and process solution for Hilti’s customer service departments in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Before joining Hilti in 2007, Christoph gained first experience in SAP CRM at Swarovski, supporting various project implementations in Europe and Asia.

Christoph hold a Master’s and Doctorate degree in Law from his Alma Mater in Innsbruck and was a research assistant for three years at the department for European and International Law.

Bernd has decades of experience in government, Fast Moving consumer goods, IT services and Food Machinery. After some years in the Austrian Ministry of Defense, he joined Mars Inc., where he held various regional and global roles. A short excursion into IT Services business followed. Since now 11 years, he has held the CIO position at Haas Food Equipment, a former family owned mid-size business, based in Austria, but with global footprint. Haas joined the Swiss Bühler Group in 2018. Since January 2019, Bernd is CIO of the Consumer Foods division at Bühler Group. Consumer Foods contains Wafer, Biscuit, Bakery, Chocolate& Coffee and Confectionery with around 800 M€ turnover.

He has gained 1st place at the “CIO of the year in mid-sized companies” in 2012 for a PLM project. Currently, the challenges are to harmonize the systems landscape, prepare for integration into the Bühler IT world, whilst balancing the many business needs in Digitization, IoT and Cloud technology.

Mohamed Saad

Mohamed Saad is a Digital & IT Evangelist since 1991; Project manager at Wafa Systèmes: Wafa Bank group’s IT services company in the early 90s, he worked on the Wafa Assurance IT reshapement, then WafaBank stock market in the mid 90’s. After a brief passage by Société Générale, he landed as a CIO at SEVAM (an industrial manufactory specialized in glass packaging). After eight years spent at SEVAM where he had to conduct two major IT redesigns, he returned to the banking world as the head of the IT Department of Arab Bank, a subsidiary of one of the largest Arab financial structures, where he led The reorganization and implementation of the group’s IT policies and procedures led to the Group being ranked one of the Group’s top IT departments in 2008. Currently, he is an EVP in charge of the Resources Division at the Casablanca Stock Exchange, which includes IT, HR, Procurement, Finances & treasury, he is still acting as a CIO.

Mohamed is graduated from INSEA (IT Engineer); He also holds the Executive MBA from ISCAE, CISA (ISACA), PMP (PMI), ITIL (EXIN), ISO 27.001 Lead Auditor and CRISC (ISACA) certifications

Mohamed leads several IT seminars; he is associated with the University of Quebec at CHICOUTIMI (UQAC), the University of Quebec at Trois Rivières (UQTR), the International University of Rabat (UIR) … He is the author of several articles in the local and foreign press on the governance of IT, CIOs challenges, the ROI of IT projects …; he has been associated with the Maroco-Corréen group of reflection on the introduction of IT in Moroccan education (Ministry of National Education).

Mohamed is the President of the Moroccan IT users Association since 2015.

He is married and has two children.

 

The Casablanca Stock Exchange in Morocco was established in 1929. It is the third largest and most active exchange in Africa and has currently 17 members. The Casablanca Stock Exchange is under the supervision of both the Moroccan Ministry of Finance and the Securities Authority -CDVM. The objectives of the Casablanca Stock Exchange are to:
· Assist in the country’s economic development
· Meet the needs of market operators (Investors, Issuers and operators)
· Develop the stock market
· Be ranked amongst the leading stock markets in Africa

Mohamed Saad

Mohamed Saad is a Digital & IT Evangelist since 1991; Project manager at Wafa Systèmes: Wafa Bank group’s IT services company in the early 90s, he worked on the Wafa Assurance IT reshapement, then WafaBank stock market in the mid 90’s. After a brief passage by Société Générale, he landed as a CIO at SEVAM (an industrial manufactory specialized in glass packaging). After eight years spent at SEVAM where he had to conduct two major IT redesigns, he returned to the banking world as the head of the IT Department of Arab Bank, a subsidiary of one of the largest Arab financial structures, where he led The reorganization and implementation of the group’s IT policies and procedures led to the Group being ranked one of the Group’s top IT departments in 2008. Currently, he is an EVP in charge of the Resources Division at the Casablanca Stock Exchange, which includes IT, HR, Procurement, Finances & treasury, he is still acting as a CIO.
