Dr Stefan Henkel

Stefan Henkel studied economics at the University of Bamberg, where he also received his PhD. After working as an assistant professor and as a freelance IT consultant, he started his Siemens career in 1996 at Siemens Management Consulting in Munich. In 1997, he became the Director of Supply Chain Consulting at Corporate Procurement and Logistics.

After filling further management positions in other departments, he joined Customer Services at the Healthcare Sector in 2006, where he was responsible for the global “Product Support” and “Siemens Remote Service”. In 2010, he led the Sector Transformation Management Office. In 2011, Stefan Henkel became the Head of Customer Relationship Management Operations. Since January 2014 he assumes the responsibility as Head of Information Technology within Siemens Healthineers. With the IPO of Siemens Healthineers in March 2018 Stefan Henkel has taken the accountability as CIO.

Roman Rapoport has been since 2019 Group CIO at BPW, a global operating supplier to the commercial vehicle industry as well as a mobility service provider to the transport and logistics industry. Before joining BPW, he was driving bigger digitalization projects in the insurance area on the consulting side – as an IT executive at Accenture Strategy.

BPW is a partner to commercial vehicle operators and commercial vehicle manufacturers with 125 years of experience. The company thinks of transportation and logistics as a whole – and beyond. The goal is to make transport and logistics processes sustainably more efficient, safer and more predictable for the customers. And to open up completely new possibilities with electric drive solutions for city logistics and the digital networking of truck, trailer and freight.

Martin Peuker

Martin Peuker has been since 2017 CIO of Charité (Universitaetsmedizin Berlin), one of Europe’s largest university hospitals, affiliated with Humboldt University and Free University Berlin.

After completing his studies, Peuker spent the formative years of his career as a senior manager with Siemens AG and Mummert Consulting AG. From the beginning, his focus has been IT development in the healthcare sector.

In 2006, after several years as a consultant, he moved to Charité Universitaetsmedizin Berlin, heading their IT division as Deputy CIO.  He oversaw all operational IT processes for administration, research and teaching as well as the development of a holistic sustainability strategy.

As CIO of Charité, Peuker’s priorities are the continuous further development and improvement of IT structures in healthcare, both at Charité and at BIH (Berlin Institute of Health). Further priorities also include the promotion of research and teaching, as well as health technology, which are of crucial importance to him.

In addition to his duties as CIO, Peuker takes on responsibility as a project manager and site spokesman representing Berlin in the HiGHmed consortium and is member of the IT committee of the Association of University Clinics (Verband der Universitätsklinika e.V.).
